“Planning is bringing the future into the present so that you can do something about it now” -Alan Lakein
At Ziemers we know that thinking about your funeral is easy to put off. But we are here to help in your time of need, and if you let us we can help to prepare you for the future.
Here’s Florentus and Agnes Parkers story of advance planning
If the advance planning counselor hadn’t stopped by that day, we might’ve waited too long. What’s funny is that I almost didn’t let her in. My first reaction was “I don’t want to talk about it!” Prearranging is just something you think you can put off. But one day something will happen and one of us will be down at the funeral home making the other’s arrangements…alone. It’s so much easier doing it now, in our home, together.
It’s also a good feeling knowing everything will be taken care of just as we want it. We’ve had an idea of how we wanted things handled for years. Now we’re relieved because it’s down on paper. It’ll all be taken care of like we’ve planned it. Now we can get on with the rest of our lives.
Florentus and Agnes found “Peace of mind in a difficult time” and you can too.
